Dr. Meghan Crute, MD, FAAD
Dr. Meghan Crute, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist practicing in Northeast Ohio for over 9 years. She is the owner and founder of Spectrum Dermatology, LLC, the first direct-care dermatology practice in the Cleveland area and the surrounding suburbs. She has a deep passion for providing exceptional skin care in a way that intimately involves each patient in the decision-making process. She treats each patient with the respect and attention that she would provide to members of her own family. Her excellent patient care and interpersonal skills were recognized with membership in the Gold Humanism Honor Society in medical school and the receipt of the Mutasim Humanitarian award as a dermatology resident.
After graduating summa cum laude from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Dr. Crute completed her 8-year Dual Admissions program by attending the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society and graduated within the top tenth of her class. She subsequently completed an ACGME-accredited internship in internal medicine at University Hospital Cincinnati and went on to complete her dermatology residency at the same institution.
During her career, Dr. Crute presented at local and national meetings including topics such as pediatric dermatologic conditions, genetic disorders and dermatology, unique skin cancer manifestations, and even dermatologic manifestations of bites and stings. She is published in Pediatric Dermatology.
Dr. Crute is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). She is also a member of the Ohio Dermatological Association (ODA).
Her interests include the full spectrum of general adult as well as pediatric dermatologic conditions. Dr. Crute remains active in her education and continues to further her knowledge with the most up-to-date dermatology diagnoses, evaluation techniques, and treatment plans.
Dr. Crute grew up in Lakewood, Ohio, and is thrilled to be able to continue to practice dermatology in Northeast Ohio. When not caring for her patients, Dr. Crute enjoys outdoor activities and participating in spinning classes. She frequently spends quality time with her family and friends, enjoys cooking and bargain-hunting, and considers herself as an amateur interior decorator who tries her hand on personal household projects.
