COVID Policy – Updated
At Spectrum Dermatology we believe the health and well-being of our patients, staff, and families are of the utmost importance. We are currently living in unprecedented times and, as such, are adapting our practice to ensure that we can provide superior care while minimizing risk of illness.
At this time, we are allowing online booking for teledermatology and in-person visits. If an in-person visit is necessary following a telemedicine visit, a portion of the telemedicine fee will be applied toward the scheduled in-person visit. Telemedicine visits will be 15-minute appointments with a $100 associated fee. A credit card on-file will be required at the time of booking. In-person visit times and costs can be found on our website under the “Pricing” tab.
All in-person office visits will be scheduled to ensure adequate time between patients to minimize people in the office, eliminate wait times, and allow for thorough sanitation protocols between patient visits. All people entering the office will be required to wear a mask that completely cover their mouth and nose throughout the duration of their visit, unless specifically instructed by the physician to briefly remove it for examination purposes. Any person who is unable to comply with the mask mandate will be asked to leave and may reschedule with a telemedicine visit if they so choose.
We ask that you come alone to your visit unless you are accompanying a minor or an elderly patient who needs assistance. If there is a wait for your appointment, you may be asked to wait in your car and will be called when we are ready for your visit. It is also helpful to leave any bulky items at home or in your car (such as large coats, bags, etc) to minimize chances for contamination. We will make every attempt to accomplish check-in and check-out procedures with minimal contact points.
We look forward to caring for you and will do our best to promote wellness beyond the visible.
